Technology & Modalities
Advanced Modalities, Guided by Clinical Expertise
Technology can be a powerful part of recovery, but it works best when it is used with the right clinical judgment. At Alina PT, our modalities are integrated into personalized treatment plans to support pain relief, mobility, tissue recovery, and performance goals.
Our equipment supports the treatment—but your plan is always built around your body, your goals, and your progress.

LightForce Deep Tissue Laser Therapy
Focused therapeutic light energy for pain relief support, inflammation management, tissue recovery, and post-activity recovery.
LightForce Deep Tissue Laser Therapy uses focused light energy to support a biological process known as photobiomodulation. In simple terms, the light energy is delivered into targeted tissues to help support cellular activity, circulation, pain relief, inflammation management, and the body's natural recovery process.
During treatment, patients often feel a soothing warmth in the targeted area. Sessions are typically quick, non-invasive, and used as part of a broader physical therapy or recovery plan.
Best for:
- Muscle discomfort
- Joint discomfort
- Neck or back discomfort
- Soft tissue irritation
- Sports-related recovery
- Post-activity recovery
- Arthritis-related stiffness support
- Plantar fasciitis support
Important: Laser therapy is selected based on your evaluation and treatment goals. It may be combined with hands-on care, movement work, strengthening, or other modalities.

Chattanooga Focus Shockwave Therapy
Focused acoustic wave therapy for stubborn soft tissue, tendon, and overuse-related discomfort.
Chattanooga Focus Shockwave Therapy uses focused acoustic waves delivered into targeted tissue. It is designed to help stimulate a local tissue response and support the body's natural recovery process in areas affected by chronic or stubborn discomfort.
This modality is often used when an area has been irritated for a long time or has not responded well to rest alone. It can be especially useful for tendon-related or soft tissue issues when combined with a complete rehabilitation plan.
Best for:
- Plantar fasciitis
- Tendon discomfort
- Achilles-related discomfort
- Shoulder or elbow irritation
- Sports overuse issues
- Shin splint-related discomfort
- Chronic soft tissue tightness
Important: Shockwave therapy is not for every patient or every condition. A clinical evaluation helps determine if it is appropriate.

WINBACK BACK4 TECAR / Radiofrequency Therapy
Advanced radiofrequency therapy for deep tissue warmth, circulation, mobility, and recovery support.
WINBACK TECAR / Radiofrequency Therapy uses radiofrequency energy to create a deep therapeutic effect in targeted tissues. It may help support circulation, muscle relaxation, joint mobility, tissue recovery, and improved movement quality.
This therapy can feel warm and comfortable. It may be used before or during manual therapy, mobility work, or exercise-based rehabilitation to help prepare the body to move better.
Best for:
- Muscle tension
- Joint stiffness
- Mobility restrictions
- Soft tissue discomfort
- Recovery support
- Movement preparation
- Chronic tightness
Important: TECAR therapy is used based on your symptoms, goals, and therapist's clinical judgment.
